Nitto Mudd Grapplers

How fast do they wear down with heavy street use? I'm planning out my lift, wheel, and tire purchase and I'm trying to get everything perfect. I won't be doing much off roading(if any at all) but I LOVE the looks of the mudd grapplers. I just don't want to turn around a year from now and buy new tires. I'll be getting a Fabtech Performance lift and I'm not exactly sure about the wheel/tire combos yet. But here is what I'm considering.

-Diamo 17kt 18x10, Nitto Mud Grappler 35x12.50

-Diamo 17kt 18x10, Pro Comp Xtreme A/t 35x12.50

-Diamo 17kt 20x10, Irok radials 36x13.50

-Moto Metal 951 18x9, Pro Comp Xtreme A/t 35x12.50

With the lift, should there be any rubbing with any of these wheel/tire combos? Do you know of any special deals going on that might influence my decision? Your thoughts?

You should be fine with any of those combos.
The Mud Grapplers perform well on and off road. However, they are extremely loud on pavement and wear very quickly. You will be much better off with the Pro Comp Xtreme AT's.

Thanks Wandell, that's what I was afraid of with the Mud Grapplers as far as wear. It seemed like I saw a post on here that said the Iroks will hold up for 30,000 miles. I'll look for it. Thanks again.

I heard of people get 30,000+ plus out of MG's. Just depends on how you drive and keeping your rig serviced.

I would not bet on the SS Irok either. Both are about the same IMO.

Ya, I wouldn't imagine the IROK getting all that much better of miles on the road. I hear those tires also will wear very fast and uneven IF you don't keep up the rotations and inflation. You might want to look into those Pro-Comp Ex A/T. They are a LOT more aggressive looking in person, so don't be swayed by those internet pics. Also look into the Mickey Thompson M/T. They are also great tires, look pretty aggressive, but can handle street wear a BUNCH better. Or if you have endless amounts of money you can look into the Toyo... GREAT street wear, last long, super quiet and smooth on road.

I would go with the Procomp Xtreme A/T's although I would get them in 35/13.50 it would look more aggressive that way.
