What is the best all around combination (pads/rotors)?
What is the best all around combination (pads/rotors)?
What is the best all around combination (pads/rotors)? I want something that is easy to purchase anywhere, good warranty, all around performance, last a long time. I have searched, but just trying to verify the information I got.. Thanks for any help...

From what it sounds like people are into CarQuest Blue semi-mets and powerslot rotors. But sounds like powerslot rotors the rears on on a massive back order. Also I believe the Hawk pads get good reviews here too.
I just did the CarQUest and love them, 175 for front rotors and pads. A+++

My luck has been with the Carquest (Raybestos made) "blue" semi-metallics. Lifetime warranty should be included. The rotors, I stick with regular ones, but while at Carquest just get the better of the choices, usually thicker. The things to remember are semi-metallic, warranty and better rotor. That's pretty much it.
"NTB" Raybestos made semi-metallics???
Has anyone had "NTB" National Tire Battery install Raybestos made semi-metallics that they sell... I bought my tires from them and wondering if I should get my brakes there to.
Do it, probably the same as Carquest (Raybestos) semi's, see about a warranty against noise and dust etc.

Can anyone comment on how well these work for a vehicle that tows regularly? I usually tow a 5000 trailer a few times a year and it needs to stop.
