Depends on your engine. The smaller v-8 (4.6L) has the 8.8 both front and rear. The big V-8 (5.4 L) has the 8.8 up front and the 9.75 out back.

The 10.25" rear axle is only availible on the heavy duty payload package, 8200 GVWR for example.

The rear axle on a F-150 with the 5.4L is a 9.75" and if you've got anything else you'll have a 8.8" differential.

PS: Remember if you're 4WD the front differential is a 8.8" but its a reverse cut.
