the 04+ are not flush with the fenders, they are tucked like every other stock truck. Do you want like this?

New wheels is the only way. Your OE wheels need to stick out 1.5"-2.5" inches to have them sit where you want them. The wheels Kieth posted are 10" wide with a 12.5" wide tire. These are 9" wide with a 11.5" wide tire. I think the perfect look is somewhere between where my wheels and Kieth's sit. Either way, you have to get a new set of wheels.

As are mine. Which works out to -25 offset on Kieth's wheels and -12 on mine, FYI. Oh, and that is also with a 5/16" spacer behind my wheels.

As far as using spacers to push out the stock wheels, I've heard that as much as 1/2" is safe. I wouldn't go that much, but once my wheels were already 1.5" farther out thatn stock, that extra 1/4" really makes a difference. With 1/4" or 5/16" behind a stock wheel you would really notice very little difference. You may be able to use an actual adapter than goes 5x135 to 5x135 that is several inches thick, but you can buy a new set of wheels for what that would cost..

man i have the same problem but i really dont mind. i think its looks better with the tires flush but i just dont like any of the custom wheels out there right now. they are either too plain or they look like they should be on a 4 door caprice and i just dont play that game. if i want a gangsta ride i'd of bought a yukon or something.

keith how u like those tires??? dude mine are fantastic. i got 33/12.50/18. there some high dollar tires but i think they are well worth it!!! How many miles u got on yours??? and what do u expect to get?

I'd love to go with a set of Open Country M/T's next time, but they don't make a 33x12.50-17. Hopefully by the time my BFG All-Terrains are shot they will make more sizes..
