I have 20's on my truck and when I had the tires put on by discount tire they installed the wrong size.

I ordered 305/55R-20 (33 inch tall) but they put on 305/50R-20 (32 inch tall). They told me that they were close but the 55R's were back ordered up to 2 months so I was anxious and accepted them.

Now I am close to needing new tires and I was thinking about going with Toyo 33 x 12.50-20's. They are 33 inch tall and I want to make sure they will fit. Anyone do this on a 4 x 2 as I have found out that 4 x 2's sit an inch lower than the 4 x 4's do stock.....? If so, photos??

im runnin on a 2.5 in level and i have the nitto terra grappler 305/55R20's and they fit great! no problems! check my gallery for pics.

so yea you can fit a 33 inch tall tire no problem!

and ya i have to get new tires soon too, how much u getting those toyos for? do you think they'er better that the nittos??

 

That is good news... I will go with 33's this next time. Toyo and Nitto have the same Mother... at least that is what I was told by Discount Tire. They probably are manufactured by the same plant.

I was thinking of getting the Toyo M/T vs the Nitto Terra's. M/T's usually have a life of expactancy of 30k give or take a few miles whereas the Terra's can last around 40k. But I was thinking of changing up the look....

As for prices, I am still negotiating them!!!
