Tire decision

I am torn between a 35/12.50/18 Cooper STT and a 35/12.50/18 Toyo M/T. I am leaning towards the Cooper because they have white letters. I really want the one that is going to last longer. I commute so it would be better to get an A/T, but I have to have a M/T for duck season. I've searched the forum and can't get a good answer so if anybody with these tires could let me know mileage and how they are wearing I would appreciate it.

I agree. Plus, white letters are out of style.

Are white letters out of style on a white truck? I like them...

I had the STTs on a work truck and they wore fairly fast. I'd say about 25,000 miles. They were, however, abused by about one third of that mileage on dirt/gravel roads. They rode fine and performed well. They would dig like crazy in soft dirt or sand. I just ordered the Toyo OC MT for my truck and hope they perform as well and last longer than the STTs did. I'll see. Glad others seem to think it was a good choice.

Keith: How long have you had the Toyo's and worn are they?
PawPaw: I can't do BFG's, unless I'm going to get 50k miles out of them.
