Flat,spare tire crank won't work

I have read the other posts about this. The crank I have found under the hood has a bent tip, which won't lock in to lower the spare. It does not look to me like anyone has ever touched the jack or anything. I have a 2003 extended cab Lariat which I bought used almost a year ago. I have found no key for the crank. Any ideas? https://www.f150online.com/forums/im...ilies/help.gif

I have an 05 and it may be different. Also, only used it once and it was a while back, but I think it is the other end you use. I think the turned end is for the jack, and the receiver for lowering the spare uses a squared end.

I may not be correct. I did mine at night and in the rain, so my memory may be a little wacky. Hell, it is anyways, but hopefully I'm on the right track.
