Oh okay, that's what you do huh, sounds good!! I can't think of where I might need a connector tho.? Is there splices within the system? If the line is purchased in lenth pre-flared , it should have the connectors on them correct?

That threads into a fitting on the hub or block whichever it might be on the truck, right?

Or am I going to have to splice because I won't be able to find long enough lines?

yea they keep all those lines, connecters etc.. behind the counter. just ask for 3/16. buy extra just in case. took me about 2 hours to do my rear line from master cylinder all the way back. of course make sure you fasten it well to the frame. i had to fab up some new clamping points, the originals were rotted right off. the line was loose. as for length they had all the way up to 60 inch sections. remember you cant bend a piece that long and get it underneath in one shot. its a real pain.that why have to maybye use 2 30inch pieces for example. and use a connecter where u can get a open end/ flare wrench to tighten it down good. its trial and error so.. ive done 4 cars so... ive made every mistake when it comes to that job.

Thanx for the info Kieth, that will come in handy for sure ... - I planned on collecting supplies today and starting the brake line project. I was up most the night reading babcox articles on the EVAP systems.
Right now , I 'm without and EGR system and who knows when the last time the EVAP monitor actually ran. Man , I should shove a Biga$$ cork in it and call it good!!! - You wouldn't believe all the criteria that has to be met for your vehicles emissions system to flow seamlessly. You just about have to be a magician to accomplish that in a 10 year old vehicle..

I actually look forward to doing the brakes

no prob. thats what the dealer does. if you go in saying you want to replace all lines, they just run over to auotzone or napa and grab everything. i hate to see the quote from dealer in that job.
