what do i need to clear 33x15.50?

would 3 inch body lift , 2.5 spacer up front clear 15.5 inch wide tires on mt classics locks or should i go up to a 4 inch superlift? would that even clear 15 inch wide tires?

Good question. That is an odd size and I don't know anyone running that size. What is the backspacing on your wheels? I would think you could fit them on a 4x4 with a leveling kit and a body lift as long as the wheels are not really wide with a shallow backspacing.

Lifting the truck, regardless of the height will not help you clear wide tires. You will run into rubbing issues that a lift will not correct. Like Wandell said, unless the wheels are really wide with high backspacing you MIGHT be ok. The higer the backspacing the further the wheels set in. With a tire that wide you will probably have to go with a wheel with somewhere around 4" of backspacing and even then you may still have rubbing issues.

Well, your rubbing can come from either direction... What I mean is, if you have a high amount of backspacing, say 6inches; then you run the risk of rubbing on parts of your trucks suspension. If you have a very low amount, say 3-4 inches; then you will likely rub on your fenderwells (front and back) when you turn also realize that the less BS you have, the farther your tires will stick out. The wider the tire, the more of an issue it becomes.

I personally have 18x10" wheels with 325/65/R18 nittos (35x12.5" tire) and a 6" lift; I rub just a little when I'm turning and going up a curb at the same time. In my case the rub comes from hitting the inside of the fenderwells, I think If I had gone with 5.5" BS instead of 4.5" BS It would probably not rub at all. Hindsight and all that...

My point is that in order to deal with a very wide tire you will either have to find your maximum backspacing and trim your fender/fenderwells or find your maximum backspacing and go high enough to make it a non-issue (i.e. your so high that your fenderwells are above your tire at full lock). But you will have to watch your clearance when you have suspension compression.

Your maximum BS will be the amount of BS you can have that will put you as close to your suspension parts as possbile without hitting/rubbing any of them at full lock.

I really can't say. 15.5 inches is a LOT of rubber though. I really think that you're going to have some rubbing, but how bad it will be will depend on the wheel spec.s

As Wandell stated, we need the Backspacing and offset of those rims to even guess.

18X10 26 6-135mm

6 inch bs

12mm offset from what i can get from they specs on their site

was looking at total choas upper control arms with maybe a fabtech 6 inch lift to end the worries of this wide tire crisis? would a 6 inch clear this all up?
