Muds..??

Is it ok just to have mud tires on all the time?? they look better.. and I wouldn't mind putting up with a rougher ride.. is it bad in anyway though.. to just drive them on regular roads? talking about tires like BFgoodrich mud terrain and nitto mud grappler, tires like this?

Stay as far away from the nitto mud grapplers as you can. They are loud, have bad tread life, and a rough ride. For a mud tire on the road, go with toyo open country m/t.

yeah man its okay, you are gonna give up some treadwear and some performance at times depending on conditions, however nowadays mud tires handle so much better than they used to....but they do look better imo and are worth it imo.

Keith is right, the Toyo MT is an amazing tire for all conditions by all accounts. My Hankook Dynapro MT's have been wonderful as well.

yea stay as far away from those mud grapplers as possible, dad had em on his 05 F350 turbo diesel 6" skyjacker in a 37x13.50x20 tire and they went bald after 10,000 miles and my friend with the same setup on an 04 F150 with 35x12.50x18 went bald after just 7,000 miles they are ****ty on tread life and you cant hear yourself talk over them on the road

I also have the Hankook Dynapro's, No negatives at all. I absolutely love em. Paid $240 for the whole set brand new off a man in desperate need of cash!

Yes they will be cheaper. Toyo is one of the best overall tires out there though. Not saying anything bad about hankooks.
