Maybe he's not looking to spend $300 on an overpriced tire.
I have read tons of bad reviews on dunlop radial mud rovers.....bad tread life, uneven wear, loud, rough, and dont perform well in mud or on wet pavement.

I researched before I bought mine, alot of the guys that say that compare them to the all terrian they had on before as well, aside from the not performing in mud thing (which I can vouch the other way for). A mud tire no matter how expensive will not ride as well, as long or as quiet as a all terrain tire of the same caliber, and the jest I got from Tirerack at the time was most people complaining never even owned a mud tire before.

Another thing to consider is different kinds of mud require different kinds of tires, what works in one area may not work worth a darn in another. And in the area where I wheel (in the midwest) a 50 year old long lost harrow spike will kill a $200 BFG as quick as a $100 Widetrack Baja MT.

It is kind of funny on Tirerack's survey they came in second last, right behind BFG MT's by 1%.

That sound clip is AWESOME! like the other member said, Music to my ears!....I will def. consider the mud grapplers when my hankooks wear out. If I wanted a tire that got 50,000 miles or more I'd buy michelin LTX. The off road performance and road noise are the only things I consider in a mud tire.

from what i've heard worst complaint is tread life for most muds.. I can deal with the noise, ride, etc.. the nitto mud grapplers are what im really looking into. I'll hardly put 10k on my car a year (put 10k on my old truck in 2 years).. so if they last around that long I'm good..

I have BFG Mudterrains and love them. Not very loud at all. The same as an A/T.

Everyone has Toyo M/T's. I like to be different.

I would go with the Cooper STT's if I wanted the the look of Toyos. Much cheaper and look the same.
