Talking Does Size matter?

Rim size that is...

I am curious as to what advantages there are with having larger rims. ie..15" rims wrapped with 35" tires as compared to a 20" rim also wrapped with 35's.

Also, does anyone know what the weight difference is? Will the bigger rim/less tire package weigh more than the smaller rim with more rubber?

20's are a lot heavier. There are no advantages, its just what you like, even though my 33x20's handle like a car compaired to my old 33x16's

Just remember, with your truck, you can not go smaller than 17". Will not fit over the calipers.

My wife's Mustang had 17's on it when I got it ( 245/45ZR17 ) and when the tires wore out I put the OEM 16" ( 225/60R16 Goodyear RS-A) on it until I could afford the new 17" Goodyears. I found a deal on some like new Goodyears 17's but the 16's ride and handle so much better they're still on it. My 17" Chrome Cobras w/the new Goodyears are stacked in the corner!

I agree.

Big wheels are the style now, I think they look really bad, especially on trucks. But that is my opinion. Not meaning to offend anyone.

i have 24's on 37's and i couldn't tell a difference from having 20's and 35's... i've also had 20's on 33's and they were a better ride than stock...

from an offroad standpoint, the smaller the rim the better, the more sidewall you have the more flex and bite it will have offroading, it will also give you more of a footprint when you airdown. so yes having smaller rims and large tires makes a huge diffrence if you do any seruise type of offroading.
