Does Size matter?
I just skimmed the thread so if this is redundant, I apologize. But I think cost and tire selection has a lot to do with it also. Typically, there is a wider selection of tires that will fit a 16" rim than a 20" rim. Not saying that they don't make the same type of tire for both, but usually the 16" tires are cheaper. They make more of them so your basic supply and demand rule.
