Drove the truck another 30 or so miles today and the braking is alot better and alot smoother than the stock ones.

I cleaned my rims today when I got home, so we'll see how the brake dust test goes.

 

Ok. I have gone a full 2 days of driving on these pads now. And I honestly have to say, these pads are GREAT!!

When I had these Akebono's installed on Monday, I cleaned the rims thoroughly(front and inside behind the wheel) really good. I can still see my nice and shiny rims.

With normal stock pads I had, 2 days of driving would have meant having to clean my rims again. I was having to do it 2 to 3 times a week. I like what I am seeing right now out of these Akebono pads. Well worth the money.

My only regret. Why didn't I do it sooner?

Oh well. Lessons learned I guess.

If anyone is having brake dust problems, get some of these Akebono's. They are really good.
