Had a bolt fly out of the rear pass. side on the highway and 2-3 miles later she went flat. Two tire shops tell me it's toast. How could the sidewall have overheated this quickly? It was too hot to touch, but the tread was about normal operating temp. Looked a hell of a lot worse before it cooled down. No way around this I figure. The inner side looks normal. What do you think?

Had to be a manufacturing defect. Contact Pro Comp and ash them to warranty it. Let us know their response.

 

I emailed their warranty person and the president who took care of me on my AT's, last night with pics. Haven't heard anything yet so we'll see. I'm sure they'll hook me up. These only have 8K miles tops on them and have been GREAT until this. I can't believe it went so fast. The heat was INSANE. Forgot to add I could smell rubber when I got stopped, but it didn't shred the tire any.
