Spedo calibration

If you change to 35's your speedometer will be off. Can this be fixed with a recalibration of some sort or do you need to install a new chip or something

A ford dealer will recalibrate it for $100, or whatever their labor/hr is.

or you can buy an Edge evo, superchips tuner, or Diablo tuner.

if you still have warranty left though, I would go the dealer route

My dealer was as useless as **** on a bull this way, so I said f off and got a Ford Motorsport recalibrater for 100 bucks on ebay. There is one from 2000 and older, just to 99 I think and one for 01 and newer.

The 97's and 98's are recalibrated with a plastic gear on the tranny. The new trucks are recalibrated via computer.

Is there someone like a shop that can recalibrate it by computer cheaper than the ford dealer?
