Wheel Wideners?

I was wondering where I could happen to find wheel wideners on the internet. I have seen these in the past but never been interested. I am looking for about and inch on each side making it 2 in total. I figure it would cost less then rims and in the winter I could take them off easily. Thanks in advanced.

I'm thinking that Crazy Carl is referring to wheel spacers, and my advice, don't go that route.

Wheel spacers or wheel wideners, they don't sound good.

Well a few years back, in the offroad mags you could find ads for places that widened wheels. You could send them your factory wheels and they would widen them. I'm pretty sure they only did steel wheels, but not sure about that. I always wanted to send them a set of my factory steel 16" Chevy wheels and have them widened to run big Boggers on. And run a factory hubcap. It would look cool IMO.'

Sorry about my rookie post, I guess its not the best route to take eh. What I was looking at are these wheel spacers: http://www.performancealloys.com/all...el_spacers.asp. From your replies, I would be better off with new rims for a wider stance on the truck.
