Question will this work?!?!?

Instead of getting a lift kit on my 1999 f150 extended cab if i just got bigger tires would it make it alot taller and look good or should I get a lift kit also. i have barely any money lol

bigger tires will make it look better, but not really taller at all, and the only way to put tires on that are considerably larger than stock is to put some sort of lift kit on the truck

3" PA body lift and some 35's is the cheapest way to go.

If you have 32" stock tires (265/70T17) and go to a 35" diameter tire, then you raised the truck 1.5", half the delta diameter of the tires. That isn't much. If you want to rasie it a lot, you have to buy a lift kit. 3" body lift or 6"+ suspension lift.

Half the extra rubber is below the rim and half above. So, extra rubber between road and rim = extra ground clearance.
