time for new tires... help needed picking some

I currently have the BFG All Terrain TA KO. They have worked well and lasted about 5 years. I don't do any off roading so I don't need anything for that type of stuff. I am moving to southern Georgia so I don't need anything for driving in snow all the time like I did in WA and here in Germany. I want something that is a lot quieter. The hum of these tires is really starting to get on my nerves. Here are my requirements:

- Quiet
- Good traction in rain and the occasional drive in snow since I do plan on going to the Smokies for skiing
- 265/75r16 for size
- Good tread life

Goodyear Wrangler with Silent Armor would be a great choice. Bridgestone Dueler AT has also gotten good reviews from people as well as well as Toyo Open Country AT

Thumbs up Which part

King James, which part of south Ga. I recently put a set of Toyo Open Country A/T's on my 97'
F-150
You can drive them 4500 miles or 45 days if you don't like them you can return with out any cost to you except mounting and balancing of the tire you are swapping to. I now have to sets of Toyo's,
one on my truck and one on my wife's 99' Contour and we both love them. As for the rd noise they are not loud at all, I have Flowmaster Force II Cat back system also and my wife and I have no problem having a converstion going down the highway

I have been looking at the Dueler A/Ts. I noticed there are a few different ones. The different ones are the D693, D693 II, D695 and Revo. It looks like the Revo version is the best according to the reviews at Tirerack. They have the for $133 with and you can get a $75 Award Card if ordered by the 29th of September.

I finally got the new tires. I went with the Revos. It was a PITA trying to get them though. Local places were out of stock and most places online had them on backorder.

Let us know what you think. I was going to suggest the Michelin LTX M/S tires. They are Fantastic for mostly HWY driving with moderate weather. Super quiet and very comfortable.
