2007 f-150 4x4 screw

Hey guys I've been reading all the posts and have decided on a 20 inch wheel(helo maxxx 6 or motto metal) but need help with a tire size. I plan on puttin a 2.5 leveling kit and an AAL in the rear. Would a 305/60/ 20 a/t tire work? From reading all the posts I think I need a 5.5 - 6'' backspace on the rim to prevent rubbing? I want the tire to stick out a little past what the stock tire did. Am I on the right track? This Forum rocks!!!

That would be a 34x12.50-20 tire. It should work with a wheel with 5.5 to 6 inches of backspacing.

I thought you had seen that size somewhere. I've never seen it listed. 305/55-20 (33x12.50), 35x12.50-20 and 325/60-20 (35x13.00) are the most common sizes.

That size came up on a tire calculator but I couldnt find it.
I found a BFG KO 285/65/20 it was 34.5 high but only 11.2 in width on a 8.5 inch rim and 6'' backspacing. Could I get the added width by using a wider rim or less backspacing? I wanted it a little wider than 11.2 Any suggestions ?
Thanks

Using a 9 inch wide wheel will make the tire appear wider.
