Questions Before I Get My New Tires

My truck is a 2000 F150 4x4. I already have a set of 16x8 rims with 5" of backspacing ready, now for tires. I'm going with the BFG All Terrain K/Os, but I'm still undecided on the size.

I was leaning toward a 285/75/16, but I feel like I'm still going to have alot of room to spare. So I've thrown into the mix a 295/75/16 and a 305/70/16 (33x12.5). I'm also going to crank the t bars up a little to level the truck out. So with this set-up, what size tire would you guys reccomend?

I'd go with the 33's, I'm sure they'll fit when you crank up your bars. Wandell would be the resident guru though. I'm sure he'll set you straight when he sees this.

I've seen a 35" tire on a 2001 regular cab 4X4 with only a torsion bar leveling job... I had a set of pro-comp 33X12.5 on my stock 2002 with no issues.
Hope this helps! I'm a big fan of filling the wheel well with rubber. I see guys with 6" lifts running only 33" tires... not a good look in my opinion...

Yea I want a balanced look in the wells. That's why Ive been leaning toward the 285/75/16s. They're still a 33x11.5, but aren't anything huge. I'm still favoring this size though.

You can run any of the sizes you mentioned. Personally, I'd go with the 305/70-16's (33x12.50).

I had 33X12.5 on a 97 model with 16x8 and really liked it. I think the 295 is actually taller than the 33 but the 33 is wider. either one looks good in my opinion, i wouldnt go with the 285 they dont look mutch bigger than stock i dont think

Haha. Stock from 245 up to a BFG A/T 285, made a HUGE difference.
