Questions Before I Get My New Tires
Questions Before I Get My New Tires
My truck is a 2000 F150 4x4. I already have a set of 16x8 rims with 5" of backspacing ready, now for tires. I'm going with the BFG All Terrain K/Os, but I'm still undecided on the size.
I was leaning toward a 285/75/16, but I feel like I'm still going to have alot of room to spare. So I've thrown into the mix a 295/75/16 and a 305/70/16 (33x12.5). I'm also going to crank the t bars up a little to level the truck out. So with this set-up, what size tire would you guys reccomend?

I've seen a 35" tire on a 2001 regular cab 4X4 with only a torsion bar leveling job... I had a set of pro-comp 33X12.5 on my stock 2002 with no issues.
Hope this helps! I'm a big fan of filling the wheel well with rubber. I see guys with 6" lifts running only 33" tires... not a good look in my opinion...

I had 33X12.5 on a 97 model with 16x8 and really liked it. I think the 295 is actually taller than the 33 but the 33 is wider. either one looks good in my opinion, i wouldnt go with the 285 they dont look mutch bigger than stock i dont think

Haha. Stock from 245 up to a BFG A/T 285, made a HUGE difference.
