any ideas on whether an alignment will make this rubbing issue worse or think that it will correct it somewhat. I was thinking that with the level kit the tire would be tilted top outward but if its the other way it would help me out with an alignment.

It may help, but I'm not positive.

 

i had my alignment done before tires and rechecked after and it was right on. the side lugs were rubbing the upper ball joint and you could barely rotate the wheel. the spacers were only like $8 each and have had them for about 6k with no problems.
