Newbie Question about 9.5 tires and rims 8.5

I am looking at purchasing some Toyo's 305/50/R20 (Toyo's website had 9.5 in bold).

The rims that I want says 20 x 8.5.

I am missing something. Will one of you vets fill in the gap. Will the tires fit?

The Toyo website has 8.5, 9.5 (Bold) 10.5. What does all this mean? Am I hitting my head against the wall or losing something if I purchase the rims, 20 X8.5 for these Toyo tires?

Those tires are more than 9.5" wide. 305mm/25.4 mm per inch = 12" wide.

The three numberws are minimum rim width, recommended rim width, and max rim width for the tire. You'll be fine with those tires and the 8.5" wide rims.

I have another question...

I orignally wanted to put some 22's on my Screw. Can I add some 22's without needing a lift kit or suffering from the tires rubbing again the body?

The tires in question are

305/45R22 118V

295/30/R22 103Y

or

LT325/50R22 122R

Thanks

305/45R22 is about a 33" tire and should fit fine w/o a leveling kit.
295/30R22 is a 29" tire - would look silly on a 4x4 and the load rating is too low for your truck.
325/50R22 is about a 35" tire. That would be hard to make sut w/o a leveling kit.

The two tire sizes that would fit require certain offsets to fit.

APT,

What offset would work for the 305/45/R22?

Thanks for answering my questions.

My 22x9.5 Eagles have 6.7 inches of backspacing. I know it's an Expy, but the bolt pattern is the same as the F-150 meaning the wheel is also meant to fit them.

Minimum Offset will depend on how wide the wheels are. Wandell's 9.5" width are good @ 6.7", but an 8" wide rimm would only need about 6" of offset.

The R22 tires that I am scoping out suggest a 10 - 12 inch rim. I am wondering what would I gain if I go with the recommended 11 inch rim instead of going with the minimal 10 inch. So what offsets would I look for:

10" rims
11" rims

10" wide rim = 7" backspacing.
11" wide rim = 7.5" backspacing.
