Toyo Open Country m/t vs. Nitto Mud Grapplers

im am looking into getting 33-35 x 12.5 x 20 tires. i am between the toyo muds and the nitto muds. can anyone give background information on each tire? traction in snow, rain, dry roads, offroad...etc. How is the tread wear on each tire?
any help is appreciated! thanks

Both work very well offroad. However on the highway there is a big difference. Both also perform well on pavement, but the Mud Grapplers wear quickly and are extremely loud, even by mud tire standards. The Toyo's on the other hand are the quietest MT available.

I only have 12K on my Open Country tires so I can't say for sure how long they will last. I rotate every 5K and was told that with proper rotation people are getting 40K out of them. Of course, everyone uses their tires differently so I may not get that. I have no complaints with the tire, good in dirt and rock, have never been in snow yet. Road noise isn't bad at all IMO.
