12.50" tires

will a 12.50" tire be any wider on a 10" wide wheel than a 9" wide wheel, or will the both setups be the same width?

Yeah, the tire will be stretched out an inch farther. Of course, the tread will be the same width. It will just appear larger because the sidewall is "buldged out".

when you say "buldged out" do you mean the sidewall will be sucked in more making the wheel look to wide for the tire? also, is there any problems that can occur running a 10" wide wheel with a 12.50" tire? odd wear etc...? is this a pretty common wheel and tire setup?

Most manufacturers recommend an 8 to 10 inch wide wheel for 12.50 inch wide tires, so either wheel will be fine.
When I say "buldged out", I mean the sidewall will appear very slightly more pulled outward on a 10 inch wide wheel. Honestly, I doubt you can notice a different between a 9 and 10 inch wide wheel.
