Been reading for a while but this is first post. Planning to have a 2" level kit and a new set of shoes installed. Going w/ 305 BFG ATs and was wondering what you guys paid for your install. Any replys appreciated.

A 2 to 2 1/2" Autospring kit probably would run anywhere from $150 to $250 installed, the 305x65x18 BFG's ought to go for $1200 to 1400 buck's. My cheap little Toyo AT's went for $800 total with alignment and balancing. They got me good 2 yrs. ago with a 2 1/2" Daystar kit for $350 installed, but I haven't had any problems with it.

I bought 4 pro Comp 305/65/17's and pro Comp 1079 17x9 wheels for $1282. I got the Top Gun Customz 2 1/2" leveling kit for around $95. I am doing the leveling kit myself but will have to pay for an alignment.

I havent purchased my tires yet, but the guy at the tire place where I am getting them quoted me $260 per tire for the BFG 305/65/18 mounted and balanced, with free lifetime balance/rotation. I got my daystar level kit installed at a 4X4 shop in Jacksonville for $240...including alignment!

That is a damn good deal. I'd jump on that price now before they change their mind. Cheapest I could find was $290 / each, with no lifetime balance / rotation.

Did they lower the price on the 305's or something? The only BFG I found in the $260 range was the 285/18. I searched everywhere for the 305's and the best I found was $290. Where are you guys getting them for $260?

I am getting them from a local tire shop here in Fort Walton, FL. I went in there and he said I should get the 305/65/18 for my truck. I asked him how much, he banged the calculator for a few seconds, and said "how about $260?" I said heck yeah!

Can he get more! I just left the tire store 290 each at one and 289 at the other store. You better jump on that deal.

after much debate I changed my mind and went w/ the 285 BFG and no level. Hard to walk from the other deal but truck turned out great w/ 285's and no level. And much cheaper too. $215 per tire, mounted balanced and free allignment to boot.
