Hey guy,
I installed my new 20" OEM wheels and Michelin 275/60/20 tires last night.
What do you think?

So far I only put about 50 miles on them. The ride feel like stock with maybe a little better streering response and less tire noise.

I've been trying to decide between the Pirelli Scorpion ATR's or the Michelin LTX M/S for replacing my 275 55 20 OEM's and am having a hard time making a decision. Now that you've had them a while, how do you like the Michelin's vs the stock Pirelli's? Thanks.

Jon

That should be an easy decision. The OEM Pirelli's are a very poor quality tire. There have been numerous post on vibration and flatspotting issues.

I don't necessarily agree with that statement. The tires do flat spot, but it goes away quickly and doesn't really bother me. Other than that, I was pretty happy with their performance, except the fact they wore out at 30K miles. For me, they were smooth and gripped well. I think Discount Tire warrants them for 50K miles, so if they wore at 30K miles again, I would get some money back. The biggest issue affecting my decision is the Michelin's are over $200 more for a set, but maybe they're worth it, I don't know. FWIW, Tire Rack surveys rate the Pirelli's number one in their class with many positive responses. Of course, the Michelin's are rate high, also. Jon

I'm getting Cooper ATR 275-55-R20 on the same style wheels on Wednesday for my '07 XLT Screw.

What made you choose 60 series tires? I went with the stock size of 275-55-20 with my new Coopers ATR's.
