305/65R18 with 4.5" backspacing

I am wanting to put 305/65R18 BFG A/T tires on the Moto Metal 951s (w/ 4.5" backspacing). I have an '07 FX4 Screw with a 2.5" Autospring front lift.

Does anyone have pictures of a setup like this? Or does anyone know if I will have rubbing issues with this? Moto Metal also has a 6.18" backspace version and I wasn't sure if that would be a better choice?

I'd like for the tires to stick out an inch or so (if possible and not rub), and then I plan to add fender flares.

305's probably won't stick out past the fenders wells much. They're only 12" wide tires, so they should fit pretty flush with the wells.

I've been considering the 305/65/18 BFG's also, but I currently have 325/60/18 Nitto's, and I'm concerned about the BFG's being narrower and looking too small on the truck.

they are 12.1 vs. the standard 12.5. I think your nittos are what 13.00?

I just picked up a set of the bfg's 305/65/18s mounted on an 18x9 pro-comp wheel with a 5" backspacing. I have the daystar 2.5 coil spacers. I'll post you some pics when I get em next week.

You are forgetting about the role of the wheel. A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing will stick out 2.5 inches farther than the OEM 7.5 inch wide wheels with 5.5 inches of backspacing. A 9 inch wide wheel with 6.1 inches of backspacing will stick out about an inch farther than the OEM wheels.

I was thinking of going with the same setup...with the 4.5" backspacing. I just don't want them to stick out to far from the fenders. This may sound stupid but I was wondering if:
will a wheel that is 18x9 with 4.5 inches of backspacing with a 305/65-18 tire stick out from the fenders about the same distance as a 18x9 wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing with a 325/60-18? If someone could answer this, I would be more than grateful.

Remember, the first number is the width of the tire in millimeters. So a 325 is 20mm wider than a 305. And only half of that (10mm) will be on the outside.
