Recall

Has anyone had the recall done on the brake pressure switch for the cruse control? Do the bleed the system or flush? Any noticable differance besides your truck not catching fire?

I agree, 10 mins and nothing else. Had mine done about 2 years ago, no problems.

What a hack job they do on the wiring harness. Anybody else noticed?

All they do is plug in an extended wiring harness. It probably has a fusable link in it or something.

It doesn't look great as it adds additional wiring where it wasn't originally intended so it does look a bit messy.

But I wouldn't call it a hack job.

Just my two cents.

This is old news. Just get it done before you end up with a burned-out husk. You'll be lucky if it doesn't take out your house & several others.

The first shows what you start with. The 2nd shows what most trucks get, just to keep them from burning. 3rd shows the new design switch.
