new tires and alignment

Should you get a alignment done after going to a bigger size after market tire?

You shouldn't need to. If your truck was already aligned and showed no signs of unusual wear, you'll be fine. No need to re-align it just cause you are getting larger tires.

I agree. However, an alignment may be a good investment if you havn't had one done in a while. But if your old tires are worn perfectly even, you shouldn't need it.

i would say get an alignment if you went larger tires, i just got my lift done and got an alignment with my stock tires, the shop told me it would be a good idea to re-align when i get my new larger tires (in the future)........ dont think hes blowing smoke up my azz, hes been taking care of all my families cars since 1991

I got my alignment done after I put on my AS then put the new wheels and tires on the next week. I have been getting this same response. Some say get aligned some say don't.

If you had it aligned just before you put the new tires on, don't worry about it. After the AS is when you really needed it.
