I am trying to give my tuck a little of a taller look with the tires but I dont want to lift it. Am I better off to go with a 245 75 17 or a 265 70 17 or 285 70 17 goin on an 04 fx4 scab. Pics are great if anyone has them

 

I'd go with 285/70-17.

 

245 75 17 is 31.5in tall
265 70 17 is 31.6 tall
285 70 17 is 32.7 tall

when i had 30x15.5x15's on my truck.. i had about 5 miles per gallon... moved to a 31x10.5x15 and now have 18 mpg... you decide..

 

how much do you think that will affect milage between a 245 and 285 its only 4 cm, Will it be noticable? cause my milage is not good to begin with. only 11 or 12 mpg
