I went with white letters out on these tires (see gallery pics) with the stock FX4 wheels. I think that the choice depends on many variables. If you're going with a 18" or larger wheel, blackwalls, hands down, as the wheel is doing the dressing for you. 17" or smaller, the white letters add a little extra pizazz against a large sidewall/small diameter wheel.

I have had my 305's for about 1 1/2 months and I have them black out, but my truck is dark stone with tint and a UWS black toolbox, so it fit the look of my truck. It all depends on the style you are looking for.

I'd go White letters out, especially with the BFG's. They are one of the few that have solid bold white letters instead of outline. When they are clean, which is really easy to do, they look great. If you are going MT's they could be black out and still look good though.
See sig for 285's, white out..

I never liked the "alphabet soup" look the the BFG's have. You can always put them on one way, then flip them around later. Let me tell you, it makes it look like a new set of tires.

As others have said, with your color scheme I would have to say black out. And besides, when the black is out the tires actually look bigger becuase you don't have your eye drawn to the inside. That's a fact!

Hey, Unclebuck12, What size BFG's do you have on your FX4. Are they the 305/65/18's or are they on a 17'' wheel. I dont know enough about the FX4's stock wheel size to know which is which.

Hey guys. I was looking at a set of BFG AT/KOs (285/75/16) and they are listed as a size which comes in black lettering. Does this mean that both sides are black letters, or just one? I want this size, but would really like the white letters on my truck. Thanks.

Same size I have and as you can see above, they have white lettering. You will not be dissapointed with this tires at all! I absolutely love this tire. I keep about 50 PSI in them just incase you were wondering. They have no road noise what so ever!
