Spare tire stolen.

Spare tire stolen on my 2000 F-150 with 17" tires. My question is do I need a 17" wheel for the spare or a 16" with a larger tire?

depends on what you want, but the tire height should be the same.

Probably better to get the 17, a 16 might have caliper clearance issues.

I think that the 16" wheels are fine, but you run into clearance issues with 15" wheels.
