wider tires

hey i dont know much about the tires width, but i want a wider tire, preferrably a set of 37" Mud Grapplers, but i want the wider ones, so the tires stick out farther than the sides of the truck, i don't want them to be flush w/ the truck, if you know what i mean lol. can some one give me a width size for the 37" Nitto's, that are wider, thanks.

If you want the tires to stick out you will need to get wheels with a smaller backspacing. i believe the 37 nitttos only come 13.5 inches wide.

I agree. Also, it's hard to get wheels to "stick out" on our trucks unless you use a 12 inch wide wheel (which I wouldn't advise because of the fitment problems it creates) or go with a really wide tire.

i looked at Trooks2001's gallery and saw that he has a newer f150 and also an older one like mine (cant remember the yr), and his tires are nice and wide, i was wondering what tires/size are those, and what suspension is on it.
