I run plain Brembos, bought from the Tire Rack.
I think they're about $80 each.

Hey guys, ran across this thread while I was browsing. If you have any questions about the product, please feel free to ask me. Also, even if you don't plan on buying our brakes, feel free to ask any questions about brakes. I've been in this industry for about 6-7 years and know quite a few about brakes in general.

$80.00 for Brembo, pretty good deal. How are the rotors running so far. I've heard mixed responses. Some say that its a pretty descent rotor. Other say that the material is a little soft, causing the rotors to warp a little easier. What's your experience with them?

Welcome to the site R1!! I've been looking around at several different sites that sell rotors and I've pretty much decided that I want to replace my current rotors with yours from your site. Any chance that we can get a discount off the price???

Haha... LOLZ... you guys are funny! You already know that the prices are super low, yet you still want a WAY BETTER deal. (webmaster note: marketing information removed)

So far so good w/Hawk HPS pads.

I'm pretty tough on brakes.
Drive too fast in a 3-ton Expedition with a blower, and I tow a 7,000lb boat/trailer combo.

I've only warped one set of rotors, ever, and those were the factory rotors at about 60K miles...then they immediately warped again.

Since then, I've ran cross-drilled APs (stuck caliper helped ruin them), StopTech (another stuck caliper), and PowerStop (developed a crack). But had cr@ppy pad wear with all of them, as well as massive brake dust.

The plain Brembos seem a little easier on the pads, and I've got a lot less brake dust. Braking performance seems the same as the cross-drilled rotors I've run in the past.

If I can get more than 12K miles out of a set of front pads on these rotors, I'll be happy.

Tire Rack sells them for $64 each plus shipping.
With shipping included, I paid about $80 each.

I only needed fronts.

I too only need fronts. How hard was it to get the OEMs off, compared to earlier model F150s?

It's very easy to remove front rotors with basic hand tools. I just replaced my OEM pads to Hawk LTS and it's night and day difference: from very low dust to better braking. I'm planning on getting new rotors next spring.

Really? From what I've heard you pretty much need a sledge hammer to break the fronts off because they're so tough to get off by conventional means. Do you by chance have an FX4?

Yeah, I do have FX4....while changing my pads, I noticed I was able to wiggle rotors very easliy. I could've easily changed my rotors while changing pads if I some rotors
