>>... Leveling Kit... Need Help Asap!!!!!!!

HEY ALL.. i need some input and any type of experience or anythign.. on which kit to buy and install.

i have a 06 4x4 and i was origionally gunna put the

http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...con/22905.html

(tuff country 2 inch leveling kit.. brushed aluminum .. $129 )

but i was told that was the one to go with .. but i look at this one,

http://www.marketworks.com/storefron...130&i=90227506

(made by top gun customz 2.5 inch .. $89)

and its a little cheaper, and a different design, but the main diff is that for the first one, the tuff coutnry, you must have a strut compressor, and for the other one, the top gunz custom, you just bolt it on to the top of the strut and dont even need a strut compressor..

in there description (top gun customz) they say that they have like a good review and stuf.. my question is,

??? does any one have either of these, or if they know by experience, which one is better/safer etc. (the one that is in the trust, or the one that just bolts on top)

plz post asap.. i wanna purchase the kit tonight... thank you everyone.

If your heart is set on one of these two, I would have to go with the second one. There are allot of companies jumping on the band wagon right now with leveling kits, if it were me I'd go with someone who has done it for a while like Autospring. Same price and they definately stand behind their product.

daystar is an internal mount kit - ie, you have to compress the coil...

ford did mine today for 50 bucks...your cost may vary depending on where you take it... but that should be a ballpark number

I went through this process. I ordered the AS 2.5", and got it in 2 days for $82.50 shipped. I was going to do it myself, but found a offroad shop to do it for $75.00, which was well worth it for me to not have to mess with it. I then got the lifetime alignment from Firestone for $139.99. I think this is a great deal, considering how I installed 35" Terra Grapplers and I do enjoy running over things. I just plan on having it alingned about every 6K miles, when I rotate the tires. Im sure it will pay for itself quickly.

BTW- I have been extremely happy with the AS lift. I am a little worried that the front is too high now, but I think I am just too used to the large downward rake. I can always do the AAL option if I need to.

I got the 2 inch AS kit and installed it myself. I am very happy with the results. Just follow the directions somewhere on this website, (search for the one with pictures) and it will be a breeze.

Only issue I had was tools. I hear you can borrow the ones you need from an Autozone or Checker but I figured it was a good reason to just go buy some .

Good luck
