$30.00 Mounting & Balancing a 35" Tires

Hi,

I have a set of a Never Mounted 35X12.5 R18 Toyo Open Country MT that needs to be mounted and balance on a Brand New Set of Procomp Series 6005wheels. Tires &wheels were purchased from a private party and online.

I've called around the Los Angeles Area Local Tire stores(America's Tire,BigOtires and others) and almost all will charge from $26.00 to $30.00 each to mount & balance plus $3.00 to 5.00 each for the chrome valve.

Is this a fair price, i think( but not too sure)i've read here somewhere that it should only cost $10.00 to $15.00.

That price sounds about right. I did the same thing last month. For $120 I bought chrome valve stems, different lugs and had the tires mounted and balanced along with installing some ceramic brake pads.

Yep, bigger tires take longer to balance so they charge more.

sAM'S

GO TO Sam's Club or Costco.

**** Big O,
THEY RAPE PEOPLE
$35 is crazy.

It's no harder to balance aggressive 35's than it is to balance agressive 285's.

$9 dollars each at Sam's
Or Free if you slip the kid a 20 when their slow.
Seriously get em when their slow pull a kid aside and make the offer . I've done it several times. To someone makeing 9 an hour a 20 is a lot. If you r really happy with the job give em some more later and make a point to have it done regularly. I had regular clients that I balanced under the table for some scrill on the side.

35's will balance fine there, 37's might melt down the machine

The cost of a membership $35 easily pays for itself. Or free if you can set something up. Jus tbe cool. and i'm sure they'd be stoked to just get to work on the rollout.

My store always did a good job.
