A lot depends on your current setup and powertrain. In other words, if you have a v6 and 30 inch tires with 3.55 gears, you are really notice a difference. If you have a 5.4 with 3.55 gears and 32 inch tires you probably won't notice any affects going to a 33 inch tire.

well its not gonna be as bad as going 35's but 33's you we see a loss of power how ever most people that have 35's dont regear i think ur ok yes a edge programer will help the tranny find better shift points and you will still be able to get power gains from it id still get a cold air intake they help alot more that a custom exhaust system headers help about as much a cold air intake as well

I have the 5.4 and the 3.55 gears with 255's. So I should be OK right going to 305?

5.4 can easily handle the bigger tire but you will see a drop in power

If he has a 4x4 they will fit easily without a lift.

I had 33x12.50x16's put on when it was stock, and i didnt notice it being any slower except when using the cruise on hills, not bad at all, just a little. Now with the 33x12.50x20 nitto's, and the heavy wheels, its quite a bit slower...
