Front tires sticking out?

I have an `05 screw. Looking to uprade both wheels and tires and would like them to be flush with the fender. I`ve noticed that the front tires stick out more than the rear.
Any suggestions?

A 9 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing will fit just about flush.

Thanks Wandell,

What do you know about the difference between the front and rear wheels a in relation to each other?
I had an`01 prior to this truck and don`t recall any difference.

Thanks

I'm not sure about the 04-07 F-150's, but the front track width is slightly wider than the rear on my 01 F-150 and my 05 Expedition.

I know that some ppl try to achieve that look with spacers, but with something around 16x9 you shouldn't stick out.

I think I recall that the tracking on the 04 up is the same for the front and rear.

The tracking may very well be the same. It may just be the design of the front end. I know that some of the chevy`s have this problem.

I had an 02 Silverado. That is why I remember this. The Chevy has a wider track on front than the rear whereas Ford is the same. I always felt Chevies looked stupid with that tracking.

I agree. I don`t want to spend the money for new wheels & tires and end up with that look.
