Tire size, could someone help?
2003 F-150 SuperCrew 4x4.....I currenly have 17 inch tires now and was wondering what's the highest tires I could put on my truck without a lift kit? I just want height not width! Any good brand too? Thanks Guys!
looks like from the pics you have 265/70/17's which is a 31x10.50. A good choice in tire size for you would be 285/70/17 which is a 33x11.50, that would fill up the wheel wells more and you would have no issues with rubbing whatsoever.
The biggest you CAN go is to crank the t-bars and put a 315/70/17 which is a 35x12.50......not recomended though.
Brands: BFG, Nitto, Toyo.

Listen to these guys above me, helped with my decision. I went with the 285/70/17's and touched nothing. No rubbing or nothing. I'm picky, and can say I'm pleased 110%. You could go 305/70/17's but have to trim the valance (wandell has pics of this) and crank the torsion bars. After that, an alignment, but it can be done. I went with goodyear wrangler silent armor, always liked them:
