Question P-Series "Extra-Load" PSI?

I've searched and searched, but couldn't come up with an answer. Here's the story, I bought a set of Yokohama Geolandar HT-S GO51 all-season tires, and the max tire pressure says 41 psi on the sidewall. These tires exceed the oem tire specs because they are rated as a P-series "Extra-Load" tire. The oem's were just regular p-series tires, so I don't think I can go by the door jamb sticker.

The tire shop put 40 psi in them to seat the beads (recommended by the manufacturer). The ride is alot smoother than the A/T's I had on my truck previously, and ALOT quieter. They handle very good, and they grip like crazy.

I really like them, but it seems I can feel every single bump in the road with the tire pressure near the max psi. What psi do you tire experts recommend for the best wear and ride-comfort for this type of tire? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

Wandell? Anybody? Do you guys have any suggestions? Does 38 psi all around about right for these tires? I'm just guessing.

36 - 38 is probably a good place to start at for those tires, assuming you have the P255s. They are rated at 2469 at 41 so somewhere around the 36 - 38 should be enough for your max load on the truck.
