Turn the torsion bars up a little, then get it realigned. They will then fit, but still rub a little on the inner fender.

Actually, I think the size your talking about is 315 70 17, don't see a 315 75 17 on their charts.

I put the 315 70 17's on the front of my 03' Screw FX4 yesterday morning to test for rub. With every thing stock (including wheels, which they won't actually ride on we just did it for rub testing) they're about a half to one inch too big and pop the valance back and forth when turning the wheels. I don't know how different the wheel wells are on an 04', but I would need at least a 2" leveling kit to get them on, and I'd really feel better with a 3-4 inch lift to make sure I didn't rub if I hit bumps while cornering.

At any rate, I went with the 285 70 17 so I didn't have to drop $1800 on a lift, and I didn't want to take the chance of messing up ball joints or anything else that I've read about with a leveling kit, when I want to lift it in the next year or so anyway.

They will fit if you use the OEM wheels. However, you will have some minor rubbing, mainly on the frame at full steering lock.

I too have a 2000 F150 4x4 and was looking into getting some new rubber. I was looking at the 285/70 R17 BF Goodrich All Terrains and was wondering if the 285's will fit on the stock (17x7.5) rims.

I don't want the tires to mushroom real bad over the rims. If they do fit on the rims, what kind of spacing issues would I have with rubbing, etc.

285/70-17's will fit your rims perfectly and will not even be close to rubbing.
