rotor questions???
One thing many folks forget is that it's a braking SYSTEM. You've got rotors, pads, calipers and much more. These parts all need to work together and as many compromises as your factory system has, it works pretty well. When you start changing one (or more) parts of the system, you risk unbalancing the system. For instance, my Porterfield pads do dust less and stop better than my stock pads, but they're putting more heat into my stock rotors - which are just starting to warp - at 36,000 miles. I'm pretty good on brakes and usually get about 50 - 55,000 miles out of stock front brakes. This combination isn't going to last that long. See, it's all a compromise.
