if you want chrome that bad then get chrome. as for tires if you want a little more aggressive looking tire go with the pro comps.

bigplayer/any1else. What will the nasty northeast weather do to my chrome rims in the winter? I guess I can get chrome and witch the rims in the winter? Dont really want to do that. How will MA weather effect the chrome?

My dad always talks about the Keystone Classics that they had back in the day and how he kept his clean with wax jobs every now and then and how he prefers the chrome over the polished mainly because of the strength.

In short, if you keep them clean and keep a wax barrier against the snow and salt in the winter, your wheels will stay looking good.

Even the polished are going to glaze over with all that salt up there, so you're going to have to clean and polish them often too.

If you want chrome, get chrome, if you want polished, get polished... the upkeep is really about the same.

Good luck..._motes

Chrome...Chrome...Chrome! Just order the darn things and have it done with! You'll be glad it's over and you WILL be HAPPY with what your decision is. JUST DO IT!

Polished is only about 100x harder to keep looking new than chrome.

Get the chrome. When winter rolls around but a big, fat, thick nasty layer of wax over ALL of the wheels, and leave it there

this will form (literally) a barrier from the crap used on the roads to break up the ice/snow.

Sure it will look like hell, but at least you will have nice and shiney wheels spring and summer
