Tire PSI. Help?

I have a 97 Ex.cab F150. It has a 6in. Lift and a 3in. body lift..I have 38x15.5x16.5 super swamper TSL.... My truck handes really bad, every bump i bounce everywhere. I think most of that is because the frount shocks are blown out.... But what i want to know is how much air psi should i be running to get a good ride? And would changing the psi help me out??

Thanks.....

I would start around 40 psi. I wouldn't drop below 35psi.

What kind of tires? Thats probably the max PSI, in which case 65 is way too high.

If its just an LT, Load Range C or D tire, start at 45 PSI and adjust from there if needed.
