Wandell!!

After being a member of the Forum, I have noticed you are the man with the answers.

I have a 2005 4X4 with a Tuff Country 2" Aluminum Spacer Leveling Kit. After looking for some time now I have decided on a set of 18" Mazzi Hulk wheels. Recently I have found a deal on a set of 18" Mazzi Hulks with some 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers. I know that 33" will fit, but I hear of people fitting 35" by "Trimming the inside of the fenders." Is it possible to fit this setup on my truck with my leveling kit? If so, how much trimming is necessary to prevent any rubbing? I would not like to have any rubbing but would like to have large aggressive tires. The Nittos look great, but the Toyo MTs are my number one pick.

Thanks in advance!

I just fit 325/65/18 (35/13/18) on chrome helo max 6s on my truck with just a leveling kit. Had to cut a little off the inside plastic and i have no rubbing. Looks sweet and i was told that they wouldnt fit but.

Personally, I'd go with a 325/60-18 (33's). Like Bigbuckfx4 stated, you can probably fit a 325/65-18 with some trimming and putting up with some rubbing, but is it worth it to you.

What backspacing do you have on your Helo Maxx's?

BigBuck, can you post some pics of the trimming that was done in order to fit those 35's?

I had to tirm some with 325/60/18 (33x13.50x18) mounted on 951 Moto Metals and I had a 2.5" AS. I wouldn't put 35" on without a 4" or 6" lift with aftermarket rims.

Just my 2cents...

Any rubbing as the suspension articulates fully, like when off roading?

Just for those wondering...I went ahead and got the 35x12 Nitto Mud Grapplers mounted on 18x10 Mazzi Hulks. With the 2" leveling kit on my 05 150, there was an abundance of rubbing. Rubbing occured both on the chrome bumper and against my fender flares. So, from my personal experience, I do not see how any trimming, of any kind, could possible fit 35" tires. For those who have lifts fitting 35's are there any recommendations? I do not want to go too tall, I was thinking of a 4 or 4.5 lift.

you said u have the 2 inch leveling kit...but have u tried cranking the torsion bars. if u dont want much lift that should give u another 2 inches u think that will be enough?mayb u want to give it a try, u could always crank them back out.
