unusal tires

Question unusal tires

anyone running military tires here? and if so how do they fit and do???

i have found one site that sells them, but i am unsure which tire size to get...
thanks..

I didn't think anyone had rims to run military tires. I know the tires we use on our HMMWV's (hummers) are 37x12.50x16.5's. I don't know of too many people that have 16.5" rims.

Ya, exactly. Even if you find a non hummer 16.5 rim it is most likely going to be a 8 lug for a super duty or another HD truck.

I know of one guy who runs the 37" GS-A (I think its the GS-A, the less tough hummer tire) on a 01 Super duty. He likes them and I rode in his truck and it rides ok (considering 37"s and almost 10" of lift)

I just dont think you can get them to work on a F-150 without adaptors.

a lot of hardcore off roaders at pavementsucks.com have them. they are very heavy and such

thanks for the replies, a dude at my lease runs them on his chevy 2500. he goes places i would not go except in a boat......

I have a friend who has two rear Military tires...I guese they ain't bad but he also has a flat bed and not a real bed so he doesn't have clearence issues....
