question about tires and winter.

i have an 05 f-150 crew cab lariat. i was going to install a leveling kit and run 33s but ive decided to put in a order for either 22s or 24s. My problem is, im moving up north, and i wanted to know what tires i should buy that would be best for all around, including snow, and summer ect. Do any of you guys actually run big rims like that during the winter or slap on stock wheels? any info would be helpfull ty.

definatly throw on stock wheels. there is no tire in a 22 or 24 that will be anygood in winter there is just not enuf sidewall. if not the stockers then buy a set of cheap 17s that way you can get cheap winter tires. the BFG all terrain is also an awesome winter tire.
