3" Body Lift

I bought a Performance Accesories Body Kit for my truck. It looks like a crap load of work. Is it worth doing it be myself or just pay someone $300 to do it.

What year is the truck? THe 97-03's take some time to install, but they aren't that hard.

It could easily be a weekend full of work if you have never done one before. Honestly I had 2 buddies helping me and it took us around 18 hours to fully install mine. I have also installed 3 body lifts before this one on my 99.
If I would have had half the tools then that I have now it would have taken a lot less time to install. There not really hard but they can be time consuming. If he is only asking 350 to install it and your budget allows for it I would go for it. I got quoted $800 install back when I installed my BL.

I agree. $350 isn't a bad price. Mine took me all weekend to install but I was working by myself most of the time.

I have 315-75 R16's on mine. They will fit with minor trimming of your front valence below your bumper. I also have my torsion bars cranked up. This combo is still very functional off road, as I have been through some very nasty mud holes with no rubbing issues. I say go with the 35's you won't regret it.
