Painting calipers question...

I want to know if painting my calipers black would look decent (I don't want to look too racey, just very clean)?

Also, if it would look good, what sort of paint would I have to use in order to no catch my calipers on fire? (ie: what is a high-temp paint, where do I get it, and how much $?)

Thanks in advance for your help/advise.

Some re-man calipers are painted...but most new calipers are just exposed metal.

Hi temp paint....lets see...any engine paint should work from and auto parts store. If you want flat black you can go to a home improvement store and get BBQ paint. Either way shouldn't exceed a couple of bucks.

Go to autozone, they sell a little kit with cleaner for the calipers, paint and a brush for like $20. Its ceramic paint and will not chip, peel, or fade. I painted mine with it about 6000 miles or so ago and they still look just like the day I painted them.

You've got a 2003 F150 and don't even have $20 in your pocket? How'd you pay for that thing?
